Nella storia del cinema le porte sono piuttosto importanti, ma anche quelle pi\u00f9 fatidiche, tendono a somigliarsi tutte: a distinguerle \u00e8 quello che c’\u00e8 al di l\u00e0.<\/h2>\n

Ma di fatto sono tutte pi\u00f9 o meno a forma – beh, di porta.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Tranne una: quella rotonda immaginata e personalmente disegnata da J.R.R. Tolkien per Bilbo Baggins, protagonista del suo libro Lo Hobbit<\/strong>, e realizzata da Peter Jackson nel film Il signore degli anelli (2001).<\/h2>\n

Una porta domestica circolare non si era mai vista…Questo perch\u00e9 eliminando gli angoli, si favorisce una chiusura particolarmente ermetica.<\/h2>\n

Una soluzione utile se voi, come dire, non aprite quella porta.<\/h2>\n

O perlomeno la aprite di rado: in effetti, gli hobbit non amano troppo ricevere visite. Perch\u00e9 aprirla \u00e8 piuttosto complicato,<\/h2>\n

Tra i tanti problemi quello pi\u00f9 complicato \u00e8 dato dal rapporto tra cardini e peso della porta. La quale, anche se non interamente in legno come da tradizione hobbit, dev’esserne quanto meno rivestita; e anche alleggerendola il pi\u00f9 possibile, deve avere un minimo di consistenza, altrimenti al primo Cavaliere Nero di passaggio baster\u00e0 un cavatappi.<\/h2>\n

Inoltre la razza umana ha anche un grande svantaggio rispetto agli hobbit, ovvero un’altezza media superiore al metro e venti, il che comporta una porta non soltanto alta almeno un metro e novanta, ma anche larga un metro e novanta. Che vanno calcolati anche nello spazio da lasciare libero per il movimento di apertura all’interno – e con ci\u00f2, se ne vanno due metri e passa di corridoio.<\/h2>\n

In definitiva, rispetto alla relativa facilit\u00e0 di adottare una tavola rotonda come Re Art\u00f9, la possibilit\u00e0 di dare una svolta fantasy alla propria casa con una porta rotonda parrebbe remota, e anche in Harry Potter e la camera dei segreti (2002) la porta che custodisce quest’ultima ha l’aria di essere stata pensata per aprirsi pochissimo, e tenersi ben stretti i segreti.<\/h2>\n
